The denial of the application is affirmed.
FINDINGS OF FACT
1. Trawl nets are still in the experimental stage and further study is needed before they may be approved on a full time commercial basis.
2. The Division of Fish and Wildlife does not presently have sufficient staff with which to monitor another commercial trawl net operation.
3. For purposes of continuity in the second year of the experiment, additional trawl permits should not be issued.
THEREFORE, for the foregoing reasons, the objections are hereby sustained, the Recommended Findings of Fact, Conclusions of Law, and Order are not adopted, and decision of the Division to deny the application is affirmed.
