Indiana Library Career Expo

Register by March 4th!

The Indiana State Library and Indiana University School of Library and Information Science (SLIS) invites high school seniors, collegians, library employees, and library professionals to the second-annual Indiana Library Career Expo. The Expo, entitled “Indiana Librarianship in the 21st Century,” takes place on Saturday, March 6, 2010 from 11:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (EST) at the IUPUI University Library in Indianapolis.

The event will feature several discussions and workshops led by leaders in the library field and a keynote presentation by Dr. Carla Hayden, Chief Executive Officer of the Enoch Pratt Free Library in Baltimore, MD. Certified public librarians will receive one (1) library education unit (LEU) for attending the keynote presentation. Additionally, attendees will have ample opportunity to network with library employees, potential employers, and college education providers in the expo hall throughout the day.
