Daniel Baum was born Oct. 7, 1780 in Derry Twp., Mifflin Co., PA. He married Asenath Rothrock on Feb. 20, 1801. He was listed in the 1820 United States Federal Census, in Pickaway, Pickaway County, O, as between the ages of 26 and 44, with a <wife?> between the ages of 26 and 44. He was listed as the owner of property in Carroll County, IN, Township 24, North Range 2 West, Section 12, as of Apr. 27, 1830. He died Dec. 24, 1857 and was buried in the Baum Cemetery, Deer Creek Township, Carroll County, IN.
Asenath Rothrock was born Sept. 21, 1781 in Cumberland County, PA. She married Daniel Baum on Feb. 20, 1801. She died May 31, 1870 and was buried in the Baum Cemetery, Deer Creek Township, Carroll County, IN.
