Biographical Note:
Arthur St. Clair, Jr. was born in 1734 and died in 1818.
Arthur St. Clair III was born on August 23, 1803, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Trained as a lawyer, he served as a member of the State House of Representatives from 1828 to 1829. St. Clair was also the Register at the U.S. Land Office at Indianapolis from 1829 to 1833 and Postmaster in Lawrenceburg, Dearborn County from 1840 to 1841. He died August 26, 1841.
