This collection contains 2 copies of Letters from the Washington Peace Conference of 1861, edited by Kenneth M. Stampp. The letters were originally published in “The Journal of Southern History” Vol. IX, No. 3 August 1943. The letters are to Indiana Governor Oliver P. Morton from the Convention delegates.
