Return to the Alphabetical List of All Online Finding Aids
Processed by: Benjamin Clark, April 2006
Biographical Note:
John Shipley was born circa 1800 in Delaware, and his wife, Rhoda was born circa 1805 in the same state. Together, the couple farmed land in Henry County, Indiana. Joseph Shipley was born circa 1820 in Delaware and was a farmer in Henry County as well. The census data is not clear as to the familial connection between John and Rhoda Shipley and Joseph Shipley, but the assumption is that they were indeed related.
