Historical Note:
D.J. Riker was inducted in 1920 as a member of Indianapolis’ Ancient Arabic Order, Nobles of the Mystic Shrine, which continues to be housed in the Murat Temple in downtown Indianapolis. The Shriners are a secret society, but one that seeks to be active in philanthropy and fraternity.
