Biographical Note:

John McGregor was born around 1841. He served in the Civil War and received an Invalid Pension following his service. McGregor’s wife was Mary. They had two sons, James G. and John. McGregor died around 1892.

Scope and Content Note:

The collection contains two passes issued to John McGregor while he was serving in the Civil War. The other two documents deal with his pension eligibility following the Civil War.
