Biographical Note:
Claude Mason was born March 9, 1884 to George and Lucy Mason. He also had a younger sister named Clarissa. August 26, 1918, Mr. Mason married Stella A. Fickinger in Marion County, Indiana. He worked as a civil engineer, and his duties included designing a sewer system for Indianapolis through the Board of Works. Mr. Mason passed away in April 1963.

This collection contains the photo album of Claude Mason. There are a variety of photographs from 1900 to about 1915, including both personal and work-related images. Photographs include: Kessler’s Stone Mills in Stinesville, Indiana, family snapshots, and survey work at the White River in 1913.
