Biographical Note:

Mildred Jackson graduated from Waldron High School in Shelby County, Indiana.  The commencement ceremony took place on April 11, 1919 at the Waldron M.E. Church.

Scope and Content Note:

This collection contains a School Friendship Book used by Mildred Jackson during her senior year at Waldron High School.  The book includes photographs, clippings, quotes from her classmates and teachers, and class information such as the motto, colors, and flower.  Also included is a written narrative which describes the courses studied as well as the members of her class throughout the four years she spent at Waldron High school.
