Biographical Note:

Robert Armstrong was born in Indiana around 1871.  In the 1940s, he lived in Roachdale, Putnam County, where he owned his own photography studio.

Scope and Content Note:

This collection contains an account book maintained by R.B. Armstrong, who ran his own photograph studio in the 1940s.  The account book details pictures taken by Armstrong and orders made by his customers.  The book also includes a listing of Armstrong’s expenses.
