Historical Note:

 The Auten Women’s Relief Corp, No., 14 was an auxiliary to the Auten Post of The Grand Army of The Republic, located in South Bend Indiana. 

 Scope and Content Note:

 This collection consists of a letter written by Lucile Meisel, the President of the Auten Women’s Relief Corps, No., 14 to the members of that same organization reporting on the work completed that year.  The collection also contains a scrapbook kept by the Auten Women’s Relief Corps, No., 14 containing newspaper clippings and photos.
