Henry Aughinbaugh (b. 1764, d. 1844) resided at Shippensburg, Pennsylvania.
Scope and Content Note:
This collection consists of a scanned copy of a letter written by Henry Aughinbaugh on his deathbed in 1844 to his daughter and son-on-law, Mary and George Koons, of Clark County, IN. Aughinbaugh’s grandson, John Thrush, wrote this letter. Accompanying the letter is an explanation of the document’s history by family descendent Charles Robert Leap.
