Biographical Note:
Little information is available on R. Atkinson. He may have lived near Crawfordsville, IN and appears to have raised and sold hogs for a living.
Scope and Content Note:
This collection contains a single page of notes that appear to be a testimony of R. Atkinson. It appears as if a business deal, in which Atkinson hoped to ship his hogs from Crawfordsville to New Orleans, went bad. There may have been a disagreement between the parties regarding payment.
