The Register has been published quarterly since 1847, and is one of the oldest and most respected journals in genealogy. In addition to this collection on CD-ROM, the Register may also be searched online (within the Indiana State Library) using the New England Ancestors database.
PERSI is the largest and most widely-used subject index covering genealogy and local history periodicals written in English and French (Canada). The collection dates from approximately 1800. There are currently over 1.7 million searchable records from nearly 6,000 different periodicals. This database is also available online (within the Indiana State Library) through Heritage Quest.
Footprints is a quarterly publication of the Fort Worth Genealogical Society. It contains items such as Bible records; church records; lodge records; cemetery and funeral home records; military records; newspaper clippings and obituaries; old letters, maps and diaries; school, tax and voter lists; queries; and other materials pertaining to genealogical or historical research in Texas.
The South Bend (Indiana) Area Genealogical Society came into existance in 1976. This CD-ROM contains a twenty year collection of its newsletters, from Volume 1 through Volume 21.
