Indiana State Library Evergreen catalog
The collection consists of 2 copies of the biography of William Stewart Culbertson, who was born Feb. 4,1814 in Pennsylvania and died in New Albany, Indiana June 25, 1892. It apparently was written for a program, perhaps presented through the sponsorship of the Historic New Albany, Inc. organization. Each copy consists of 33 photocopied pages (one with “Barthweg” written on it, the other with handwritten notes), starting with the probate of the will of Mr. Culbertson, June 29 , detailing his life, through newspaper accounts, books, brochures, cemetery and other records. The writer had no access to personal correspondence or other primary materials.
Manuscript material CANNOT be photocopied or digitized in its entirety. Photocopies and/or digital reproductions (i.e. scans, digital photographs) cannot exceed 25% of a COLLECTION or FOLDER within a collection.
