Biographical Note:
John T. Chenoweth was a physician in Cincinnati, Ohio (1860); Huntsville, Randolph County, Indiana (1861-1863); Williamsburg, Wayne County (1863-1875); and Winchester, Randolph County (1875-1903).Scope and Content Note:
The collection consists of account books for Chenoweth’s medical practice (1860-1903), including his joint partnership with his son, Forrest A. Chenoweth (1858-1926) during the years 1886-1903; and Forrest A Chenoweth’s account books (1903-1910). The accounts list daily patient visits, charge per visit, and occasional brief notations on the reason for the visit.
