Early Literacy Computers Grant
In 2008, the Indiana State Library offered a competitive grant opportunity for Indiana libraries to enhance their early literacy programs by incorporating early literacy computer systems from AWE.
Libraries were able to apply for up to three bilingual early literacy computer stations. In order to measure the effectiveness of installing these computer stations in libraries, surveys are being used as a reporting element for this one-year program.
The computers have been provided with a three-year warranty, after which the library may choose to continue purchasing updates and service.
