To begin the second month of the Listen & Learn Tour, Lt. Governor Ellspermann made a visit to Jefferson County on June 4, 2013. A listening session with elected officials was held in the morning at the Ivy Tech Business Conference Center in Madison. Lunch was at the Red Pepper. In the afternoon, Hanover College hosted the business and agricultural listening session in the afternoon, with Dr. Sue DeWine, Hanover College president, kicking off the meeting. Lt. Governor Ellspermann then toured the clearinghouse for River Valley Resources, a building still in construction that will eventually house a food pantry and space for non-for-profit organizations. After the tour she met with local media.
