Chamber of Commerce invites public to open
discussion hosted by Sens. Boots, Hershman and Rep. Buck
(STATEHOUSE) – Sens. Phil Boots (R-Crawfordsville) and Brandt Hershman (R-Wheatfield) and Rep. Jim Buck (R-Kokomo) invite the public and media to attend a Chamber of Commerce meeting in Frankfort.
Boots, Hershman and Buck will hold the public discussion at the Wesley Manor Retirement Center-Harmony Hall, 1555 N. Main Street, at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 12.
“This town hall meeting is an opportunity for constituents to meet with their legislators and discuss what is going on during this legislative Session,” Boots said. “I hope people will come to this town hall meeting to stay informed.”
“Discussion at the Statehouse is centered on property taxes, and actions might be taken that could significantly impact all Hoosiers,” Hershman said. “We hope constituents will attend this meeting to stay engaged throughout the overhaul of Indiana’s property tax system.”

Sen. Boots represents Senate District 23, which includes Montgomery County, Fountain County, and portions of Boone, Clinton, Warren and Hendricks counties.
Hershman represents District 7, which includes Carroll, Clinton, Howard, Jasper, Tippecanoe and White counties.
