Indiana Open Government Initiative

Senate Democrats have announced the Indiana Open Government Initiative to improve transparency in state government budgets and spending. Transparency and public access are critical components of the democratic process. Senate Democrats began pushing for action in 2011 to foster better budgeting practices, safeguard taxpayers, promote good jobs and improve efficiency.
