LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL RESOLUTION 01-2
(As adopted June 7, 2001)
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE INDIANA LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL:
SECTION 1.
The interim study committees described in SECTION 2 are established.
Each committee is composed of twelve (12) voting members, with six (6) appointed from the
House by the Chairman of the Council, and six (6) appointed from the Senate by the Vice-
Chairman of the Council. Appointments from each chamber shall be divided equally between
the two major political parties.
The Chairman of the Council, with the advice of the Vice-Chairman, shall designate the
chairman of each committee, and may in the same manner designate a vice-chairman of each
committee. The Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Council may each appoint non-legislators
to serve as non-voting members of a committee.
SECTION 2.
Each committee shall study and make findings and recommendations
concerning the topics assigned to it:
1. INTERIM STUDY COMMITTEE ON AGRICULTURE AND ANIMAL ISSUES
(To be chaired by a member of the Senate)

C. Corn Marketing Council (HR 139)

ASSEMBLY

A. Develop process for updating The Centennial History of the Indiana General
Assembly, 1816-1978 (Indianapolis, 1987) and A Biographical Directory of the
Indiana General Assembly, (Vol.I:1816-1899 published in 1980 and Vol. II: 1900-
1984 published in 1984)
