HUMAN RESOURCES AND ECONOMIC SECURITY MATTER EVALUATION
COMMITTEE
The Human Resources and Economic Security Matter Evaluation Committee is a subcommittee
of the Legislative Council. It is responsible for evaluating agencies and programs with human
resources or economic security as their major function in 1998, with special emphasis on the
following:
(1) The Step Ahead Comprehensive Early Childhood Grant Program.
(2) Veterans Affairs, including the Commission on Veterans Affairs, the Department of
Veterans Affairs, the Veterans' Home, and the Veterans' Home Advisory Committee.
