LAND AND WATER SUBCOMMITTEE OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY SERVICE COUNCIL

The Land and Water Subcommittee of the Environmental Quality Service Council will study and make recommendations to the full EQSC concerning pollution matters relating to land and water. In particular, the Subcommittee will:
- consider whether IDEM should, during a transition period, allow an environmental investigation, remediation, or closure to be conducted under the rules in effect before the publication of IDEM's Risk Integrated System of Closure guidance document (HEA 1919);
- study water quality issues (SB 343); and
- review the Hazardous Waste Manifest Program (HEA 1578).
