This Committee is to study issues related to Human Resources or Economic Security Matters with special emphasis on the following:
    (1) The Step Ahead Comprehensive Early Childhood Grant Program.
    (2) Veterans Affairs, including the Commission on Veterans Affairs, the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Veterans' Home, and the Veterans' Home Advisory Committee.
