Notice of Intent to Adopt a Rule

Under
IC 4-22-2-23, the Indiana State Board of Animal Health intends to adopt a rule concerning the following:
OVERVIEW: The rule will add, amend, and update animal health requirements for exhibiting livestock, poultry, and other animals in Indiana. The rule may implement requirements for equine piroplasmosis (EP) testing of equine prior to entering an exhibition premises for a horse racing meeting. The rule may make other changes in the law of animal disease control at exhibitions. Questions and comments concerning the proposed rule may be sent to the Small Business Regulatory Coordinator for this rule. Statutory authority:
IC 15-17-3-13;
IC 15-17-3-21;
IC 15-17-15-9.

IC 5-28-17-5, specifically
