Notice of Intent to Adopt a Rule

Under
IC 4-22-2-23, the Indiana State Department of Health intends to adopt a rule concerning the following:
OVERVIEW: Amends
410 IAC 16.2 to require automatic fire sprinkler systems in comprehensive care facilities and have a battery operated or hard-wired smoke detector in each resident's room as required by
IC 16-28-11-5. Amends
410 IAC 16.2 to clarify license requirements for comprehensive and residential care administrators in accordance with
IC 25-19-1-5 regarding comprehensive care facility administrator licenses and residential care facility administrator licenses. Amends the definition of children. Written comments may be submitted to the Indiana State Department of Health, Health Care Regulatory Services Commission, 2 North Meridian Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46204. Statutory authority:

IC 16-28-1-12;
IC 16-28-11-5.
