TITLE 105 INDIANA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION

Under IC 4-22-2-23, notice is hereby given that on April 2, 2024, at 3:00 p.m., at the Indiana Department of Transportation Traffic Management Center, 8620 East 21st Street, Conference Room A, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) will hold a public hearing on a new rule concerning the worksite safety enforcement pilot program.

The purpose of this hearing is to receive comments from the public prior to consideration of adoption of these rules by INDOT. All interested persons are invited and will be given reasonable opportunity to express their views concerning the proposed new rule.

If INDOT does not receive substantive comments during the public comment period or public hearing, the rule may be adopted with text that is the same as or does not substantially differ from the proposed rule.

The public may attend the INDOT meeting in person or join by https://www.in.gov/indot/about-indot/ central-office/legal/rule-making-docket/. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, persons with disabilities requiring assistance and/or accommodation, or persons of limited English proficiency (LEP) requiring accommodation related to accessibility to documents and participation at the public meeting venue, are encouraged to contact INDOT at (855) 463-6848, or Jennifer Clark at jclark2@indot.in.gov, at least 72 hours prior to the public hearing for additional assistance. A time limit may be imposed for comments at the public hearing.

Copies of these rules are now on file at the Indiana Department of Transportation, 100 North Senate Avenue, IGCN 758, Indianapolis, Indiana and are open for public inspection and copying.
