TITLE 655 BOARD OF FIREFIGHTING PERSONNEL STANDARDS AND EDUCATION

Under IC 4-22-2-23, notice is hereby given that on March 25, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., at the Indiana Government Center South, 302 West Washington Street, Wabash Hall – Conference Center Room 4, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Board of Fire Personnel Standards and Education (BFPSE) will hold a public hearing on the repeal and replacement of rules at 655 IAC, concerning the rules and regulations of the BFPSE.

The purpose of this hearing is to receive comments from the public prior to consideration of adoption of these rules by the BFPSE. All interested persons are invited and will be given reasonable opportunity to express their views concerning the proposed new rules.

If the BFPSE does not receive substantive comments during the public comment period or public hearing, the rule may be adopted with text that is the same as or does not substantially differ from the proposed rule.

The public may attend the Board of Fire Personnel Standard and Education public hearing in person or virtually. For information on virtual attendance, please visit www.in.gov/dhs/boards-and-commissions/.

Copies of these rules are now on file at the Board of Fire Personnel Standards and Education, 302 West Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana and are open for public inspection and copying.
