In accordance with public notice requirements established at 42 CFR 447.205, the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA), Office of Medicaid Policy and Planning (OMPP) and the Division of Mental Health and Addiction (DMHA) publishes this notice of changes to the rates for the Child Mental Health Wraparound (CMHW) State Plan Benefit. This public notice updates the services for which rates are being increased. In addition, the start date of rate increases is being updated. A previous public notice was available for comment August 30, 2023-September 29, 2023.

The effective date for these changes will be December 7, 2023.

Through a previous amendment, OMPP and DMHA changed the rate methodology to capture rates more accurately for these services and ensure that rates are updated regularly to keep up with inflationary demands. The changes to the rate methodology will result in an increase of provider reimbursement rates for delivering CMHW services. Below are the CMHW services offered and the new rates effective December 7, 2023.

This notice will be open to public comment from January 24, 2024, through February 23, 2024. A copy of this notice is now on file at the Indiana Government Center South, 402 West Washington Street, Room W451, Indianapolis, Indiana and is open for public inspection. Also, a copy of this notice is now available and may be inspected by contacting the local county Division of Family Resources office, except in Marion County, where public inspection may be made at 402 West Washington Street, Room W374, Indianapolis, Indiana.

There will be no public hearing.
