TITLE 140 BUREAU OF MOTOR VEHICLES

Under IC 4-22-2-23, notice is hereby given that on December 8, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., at the Indiana Government Center South, 402 West Washington Street, Conference Center Room C, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) will hold a public hearing on proposed amendments to 140 IAC 4-4-9 concerning driving skills test administration; 140 IAC 7-3-6.5 concerning physical examination requirements for CLP and CDL applicants; and 140 IAC 7-5 concerning truck driver training school approval and administration.

The purpose of this hearing is to receive comments from the public prior to consideration of adoption of these rules by the BMV. All interested persons are invited and will be given reasonable opportunity to express their views concerning the proposed rule amendments.

If the BMV does not receive substantive comments during the public comment period or public hearing, the rule may be adopted with text that is the same as or does not substantially differ from the proposed rule.

Copies of these rules are now on file at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, Indiana Government Center North, 100 North Senate Avenue, Room N404, Indianapolis, Indiana and are open for public inspection and copying.
