TITLE 470 DIVISION OF FAMILY RESOURCES

The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration – Division of Family Resources gives notice that a second public hearing has been scheduled to receive comments on the proposed rule, LSA Document #23-372, posted at 20230705-IR-470230372PRA. The second Notice of Public Hearing appears below:

Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on September 29, 2023, at 9:00 a.m., at the Indiana Government Center South, 402 West Washington Street, Cardinal Hall – Conference Center Room 10, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration – Division of Family Resources will hold a second public hearing on a proposed rule amending 470 IAC 10.3-8-3 and 470 IAC 10.3-10-1.

Pursuant to IC 4-22-2-24(d)(3) (before its amendment July 1, 2023), the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) – Division of Family Resources (DFR) proposes to amend 470 IAC 10.3-8-3 and 470 IAC 10.3-10-1 to add new exemption criteria to the TANF program in compliance with the passage of House Enrolled Act 1410 in the 2022 legislative session.

All parties interested in the proposed rule are invited to attend the public hearing and to offer public comments. In lieu of attendance at the public hearing, written comments may be sent to: FSSA, Attention: Amanda DeRoss c/o Michael Carter, 402 West Washington Street, Room W451, Indianapolis, IN 46204. Correspondence should be identified in the following manner: "COMMENT RE: LSA Document #23-372". All written comments concerning the rule received by the FSSA – DFR will be available for public inspection at FSSA's Office of General Counsel, Indiana Government Center South, 402 West Washington Street, Room W451, Indianapolis, Indiana.
