TITLE 405 OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY OF FAMILY AND SOCIAL SERVICES

The Office of the Secretary of Family and Social Services gives notice that a second public hearing has been scheduled to receive comments on the proposed rule, LSA Document #23-367, posted at 20230719-IR-405230367PRA. The second Notice of Public Hearing appears below:

Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on September 29, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., at the Indiana Government Center South, 402 West Washington Street, Cardinal Hall – Conference Center Room 10, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Office of the Secretary of the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration – Office of Medicaid Policy and Planning will hold a second public hearing on a proposed rule to amend 405 IAC 5-20-5 and 405 IAC 5-24-8.

Pursuant to IC 4-22-2-24(d)(3) (before its amendment July 1, 2023), the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) – Office of Medicaid Policy and Planning (OMPP) proposes to amend 405 IAC 5-20-5 and 405 IAC 5-24-8 to clarify the validity of electronically written notes and signatures in compliance with IC 26-2-8-106.

All parties interested in the proposed rule are invited to attend the public hearing and to offer public comments. In lieu of attendance at the public hearing, written comments may be sent to: FSSA, Attention: Amanda DeRoss c/o Keith McConomy, 402 West Washington Street, Room W451, Indianapolis, IN 46204. Correspondence should be identified in the following manner: "COMMENT RE: LSA Document #23-367". All written comments concerning the rule received by the FSSA – OMPP will be available for public inspection at FSSA's Office of General Counsel, Indiana Government Center South, 402 West Washington Street, Room W451, Indianapolis, Indiana.
