IC 4-22-2.1-5 Statement Concerning Rules Affecting Small Businesses
Estimated Number of Small Businesses Subject to this Rule:
312 IAC 8-1.5-5.5 adds the definition of "Class 1 electric bicycle". This rule does not impact small businesses.
312 IAC 8-2-3 is amended to remove the requirement that a person hold a license to possess a handgun on department property other than a reservoir owned by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Falls of the Ohio State Park to reflect changes in Indiana law. This rule does not impact small businesses as it relates only to an individual.
312 IAC 8-2-8(c) is amended to allow a person to operate a motorized cart under the circumstances stated in the rule.
This change impacts only individuals using motorized carts as a mobility device on DNR property and does not impact small businesses.
312 IAC 8-2-8(j) is added to specifically allow Class 1 electric bicycles to operate on DNR trails designated as mountain bike trails. This does not impact small businesses.

Small businesses will not incur annual reporting, record keeping, and other administrative costs as a result of the proposed amendments.

There is no estimated annual economic impact on small businesses to comply with the proposed rule.

No costs are imposed by the proposed rule amendments.
