Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on February 21, 2023, at 1:30 p.m., at the PNC Center, 101 West Washington Street, IURC Conference Center, Judicial Courtroom 224, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC) will hold a public hearing on a proposed rule (RM #22-02/LSA #22-324) to amend the IURC's administrative rules regarding minimum pipeline safety standards found at 170 IAC 5-3.

The proposed rules will affect natural gas utilities and, indirectly, customers of those gas utilities. Any compliance costs for natural gas utilities imposed by the rule are justified by the increase in public safety attributable to the regulations. The regulations will improve the overall safety of natural gas pipelines in Indiana.
