Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on January 5, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., at the Indiana Government Center South, 302 West Washington Street, Conference Room 1 (Wabash Hall), Indianapolis, Indiana, the Indiana State Board of Education will hold a public hearing on proposed changes to 511 IAC 6 and 511 IAC 7 of the Indiana Administrative Code. The proposed changes concern the alternate diploma for students with significant cognitive disabilities and other certificates or similar lesser credentials, to update the regulatory language, and to account for recently enacted legislation.

The proposed rule amendments would not impose requirements or costs under IC 4-22-2-24(d)(3).

Copies of these rules are now on file at the Indiana Government Center North, 100 North Senate Avenue, 9th Floor, Indianapolis, Indiana and are open for public inspection and copying.
