TITLE 842 INDIANA BOARD OF PHYSICAL THERAPY

Notice of Intent to Adopt a Rule

Under IC 4-22-2-23, the Indiana Board of Physical Therapy intends to adopt a rule concerning the following:

OVERVIEW: Amends 842 IAC 1-1-1 concerning definitions. Amends 842 IAC 1-1-2 concerning standards of practice. Amends 842 IAC 1-1-3 concerning educational program accreditation. Amends 842 IAC 1-2-1 concerning fees. Amends 842 IAC 1-3-1 concerning licensure by endorsement. Amends 842 IAC 1-3-2 concerning licensure by examination. Amends 842 IAC 1-3-5 concerning Social Security numbers. 842 IAC 1-4-1 concerning registrations and renewals. Amends 842 IAC 1-4-2 concerning personal information of licensees. Amends 842 IAC 1-4-3 concerning reinstatement of delinquent license. Amends 842 IAC 1-5-1 concerning license suspension. Amends 842 IAC 1-5-2 concerning patients' interests. Amend 842 IAC 1-6-1 concerning definitions. Amends 842 IAC 1-6-2 concerning professional conduct. Amends 842 IAC 1-7-2 concerning responsibilities of licensees. Amends 842 IAC 1-7-4 concerning definitions. Amends 842 IAC 1-7-5 concerning approved organizations for continuing competency courses. Repeals 842 IAC 1-3-3 and 842 IAC 1-3-4. Resources available to regulated entities through the small business ombudsman include the ombudsman's duties stated in IC 5-28-17-6, specifically IC 5-28-17-6(9), investigating and attempting to resolve any matter regarding compliance by a small business with a law, rule, or policy administered by a state agency, either as a party to a proceeding or as a mediator.
