Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on November 9, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., at the Office of the Indiana State Chemist, 175 South University Street, Biochemistry Building, West Lafayette, Indiana, the State Chemist of the State of Indiana will hold a public hearing on a proposed rule to amend and add provisions to 355 IAC 4-0.5 concerning definitions; amend 355 IAC 4-1 concerning certification standards, procedures, and exemptions for commercial and private pesticide applicators; amend 355 IAC 4-2 concerning supervision and requirements for noncertified pesticide applicators and registered technicians; amend 355 IAC 4-4 concerning record keeping requirements; amend 355 IAC 4-5-2 to simplify notification requirements for termite control pesticide application; amend 355 IAC 4-7-3 concerning registration renewal for registered technicians; repeal 355 IAC 4-0.5-2, 355 IAC 4-0.5-3, 355 IAC 4-0.5-4, 355 IAC 4-1-4, 355 IAC 4-2-1, 355 IAC 4-2-3, 355 IAC 4-2-5, 355 IAC 4-2-7, 355 IAC 4-3-0.5, 355 IAC 4-5-1, 355 IAC 4-5-3, 355 IAC 4-6, and 355 IAC 4-7-1.

The proposed rule would not impose any requirements or costs under IC 4-22-2-24(d)(3).
