Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on August 23, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., at the office of the Indiana Gaming Commission, 101 West Washington Street, East Tower, Suite 1600, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Indiana Gaming Commission (IGC) will hold a public hearing on proposed rules to add 68 IAC 3.1 regarding new requirements for licensees and other persons subject to the jurisdiction of the IGC.

The purpose of this hearing is to receive comments from the public prior to consideration of adoption of these rules by the IGC. All interested persons are invited and will be given reasonable opportunity to express their views concerning the proposed rules. Individuals are also welcome to submit written comments on the rule via email to Rules@igc.in.gov or CNeal2@igc.in.gov.

The public may join the IGC meeting by visiting the IGC office at 101 West Washington Street, East Tower, Suite 1600, Indianapolis, Indiana at the scheduled time.

The IGC has the authority to promulgate rules in accordance with IC 4-33-4-3 and IC 4-35-4-2. The costs associated with the proposed rule are necessary to ensure consumer protections are in place and the standards and integrity of gaming are upheld in Indiana. It is estimated that zero (0) small businesses in the gaming industry would be affected by this rule. The IGC has relied solely on internal analysis regarding the imposition of costs.
