TITLE 312 NATURAL RESOURCES COMMISSION

DIGEST

Temporarily establishes counties and the statewide quota for the trapping of river otters during the 2022-2023 river otter season. Effective November 15, 2022.


SECTION 1. (a) This SECTION is supplemental to 312 IAC 9-3-18.2.

(b) An individual may take a river otter as authorized in 312 IAC 9-3-18.2 in the following counties only:
(1) Adams.
(2) Allen.
(3) Bartholomew.
(4) Benton.
(5) Blackford.
(6) Boone.
(7) Carroll.
(8) Cass.
(9) Clark.
(10) Clay.
(11) Clinton.
(12) Crawford.
(13) Daviess.
(14) Dearborn.
(15) Decatur.
(16) DeKalb.
(17) Dubois.
(18) Elkhart.
(19) Floyd.
(20) Franklin.
(21) Fountain.
(22) Fulton.
(23) Gibson.
(24) Grant.
(25) Greene.
(26) Hamilton.
(27) Harrison.
(28) Howard.
(29) Huntington.
(30) Jackson.
(31) Jasper.
(32) Jay.
(33) Jefferson.
(34) Jennings.

(c) The statewide quota for the total number of river otters that may be trapped is seven hundred and fifty (750). A person must not take a river [sic, otter] under this SECTION once the statewide quota has been reached.

SECTION 2. This document expires on March 16, 2023.
