Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on March 31, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., at the Indiana Government Center South, Conference Room 22, 302 West Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Indiana State Board of Education will hold a public hearing on proposed changes to 511 IAC 7-36, 511 IAC 10.1-3-7, and 511 IAC 16-4 of the Indiana Administrative Code. The proposed changes concern special education personnel, teachers, teachers in charter schools, transition to teaching alternative programs for special education licensure, and emergency permits.

The proposed rule amendments would not impose requirements or costs under IC 4-22-2-24(d)(3).

Copies of these rules are now on file at the State Board of Education, Indiana Government Center North, 100 North Senate Avenue, 9th Floor, and Legislative Services Agency, 100 North Senate Avenue, Room N201, Indianapolis, Indiana and are open for public inspection and copying.
