TITLE 410 INDIANA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH

Notice of Intent to Adopt a Rule

Under IC 4-22-2-23, the Indiana Department of Health intends to adopt a rule concerning the following:

OVERVIEW: Adds 410 IAC 1-8 to add provisions governing standards of operation for facilities where eyelash extensions are applied to members of the public. Adds criteria eyelash extension certification programs must meet to be considered a recognized program by the Indiana Department of Health. Adds education and training requirements for individuals applying eyelash extensions to members of the public. Written comments may be submitted to the Indiana Department of Health, 2 North Meridian Street, Indianapolis, IN 46204. Statutory authority: IC 16-19-3-4.5.

Resources available to regulated entities through the small business ombudsman include the ombudsman's duties stated in IC 5-28-17-6, specifically IC 5-28-17-6(9), investigating and attempting to resolve any matter regarding compliance by a small business with a law, rule, or policy administered by a state agency, either as a party to a proceeding or as a mediator.
