Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on December 17, 2021, at 9:00 a.m. EST, at the Indiana Government Center South, 402 W. Washington St., Conference Center Room D, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Department of Labor will hold a public hearing on proposed amendments to 610 IAC 10 to comply with the new youth employment law codified at IC 22-2-18.1. This proposed rule references the new youth employment law and new terms and definitions, changes break requirements into recommendations, adds rules for the new youth employment registration system, and repeals work permit requirements.

IC 4-22-2-24(d)(3) Justification Statement: There are no new costs for businesses. There is not expected to be any new change in requirements or costs for state or local government as a result of this rule amendment. There are no new compliance or administrative costs. There are minimal new enforcement requirements.
