Notice of Public Hearing

Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on October 14, 2021, at 2:00 p.m., at the Indiana Government Center North, 100 North Senate Avenue, Room N1058, Department of Local Government Finance Conference Room, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Department of Local Government Finance will hold a public hearing on the proposed rule amendments to 50 IAC 26 to incorporate file specification changes for the revision of the Sales Disclosure Form and to make other technical changes to the computer standards for a uniform and common property tax management system.
Under IC 6-1.1-31.5, the Department is required to adopt rules for the certification of computer systems used in the administration of property tax assessments and billing.
The Department estimates that the proposed rule will not impose requirements or costs under IC 4-22-2-24(d)(3). As no financial impact is expected as a result of this rule, no supporting data, studies, or analyses were relied upon by the Department in its determination that the rule will have no or minimal fiscal impact on state or local government since no requirement is being added under this rule that is not already expressly required by statute.
