TITLE 329 SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT DIVISION

Under IC 4-22-2-38, corrects the following typographical, clerical, or spelling errors in the Indiana Administrative Code:

(1) In 329 IAC 3.1-1-13, correct the following:

(A) Delete "U.S." and replace with "United States".

(B) After the phrase "Environmental Protection Agency", add in parentheses the abbreviation "(U.S. EPA)".

(2) In 329 IAC 3.1-6-6, correct the following:

(A) In 329 IAC 3.1-6-6(2)(A)(i), correct the following:

(i) Delete the phrase "described in U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Publication SW-846, "Test Methods for Evaluating Solid Waste, Physical/Chemical Methods", 3rd Edition (November 1986), as amended by Updates I (July 1992), II (September 1994), IIA (August 1993), IIB (January 1995), and III (December 1996) (SW-846).".

(ii) After the acronym "(TCLP)", delete the comma, replace with an asterisk, and add a period after the asterisk.

(B) In 329 IAC 3.1-6-6(2)(A)(ii), delete "described in item (i)," and replace with "Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP)*,".

(C) In 329 IAC 3.1-6-6(2)(A)(iii), correct the following:

(i) Delete the phrase "described in SW-846.".

(ii) After the phrase "(Manual Cold-Vapor Technique)", delete the comma, replace with an asterisk, and add a period after the asterisk.

(D) In 329 IAC 3.1-6-6(2)(C), delete "Chapter 1, "Quality Control"," and replace with "Chapter 1: Quality Control*,".

(E) In 329 IAC 3.1-6-6(2), at the end of the subdivision, delete the phrase "U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Publication SW-846 is available from the Superintendent of Documents, U.S. Government Printing Office, Washington, D.C. 20402.".

(F) In 329 IAC 3.1-6-6, before the history line, add the following paragraph:

"*Test methods and guidance referenced in this section are included in U.S. EPA Publication SW-846, "Test Methods for Evaluating Solid Waste, Physical/Chemical Methods", 3rd Edition (November 1986), as amended by Updates I (July 1992), II (September 1994), IIA (August 1993), IIB (January 1995), and III (December 1996), accessed at https://www.epa.gov/hw-sw846 or obtained from the National Technical Information Service.".

(3) In 329 IAC 3.1-6-8, in the paragraph describing referenced materials that precedes the history line, correct the following:

(A) Delete the phrase "Environmental Protection Agency" and replace with the abbreviation "EPA".

(B) Delete the phrase "available from the Government Printing Office, Superintendent of Documents, P.O. Box 371954, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15250-7954, (202) 783-3238." and replace with "accessed at https://www.epa.gov/hw-sw846 or obtained from the National Technical Information Service.".

(4) In 329 IAC 3.1-14-18(h)(3), delete "Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)" and replace with "U.S. EPA".

(5) In the following sections, add the abbreviation "U.S." before instances of "EPA":

(A) 329 IAC 3.1-5-2(g).

(B) 329 IAC 3.1-5-2(h).

(C) 329 IAC 3.1-5-6(a).

(D) 329 IAC 3.1-8-2(3).

(E) 329 IAC 3.1-9-3(c)(1)(C).

(F) 329 IAC 3.1-9-3(c)(2)(B).

(G) 329 IAC 3.1-12-2(1).

(H) 329 IAC 3.1-12-2(6)(B).

(I) 329 IAC 3.1-13-5(a).
