Pursuant to IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on May 14, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT), the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC) will hold a public hearing on a proposed rule (RM 19-06/LSA #20-89) to amend and repeal certain IURC rules regarding rates and charges for water and/or wastewater service to property outside of the corporate boundaries of a municipality.

There are negligible costs associated with the proposed rule in the form of a notice requirement being placed on the customer/petitioner to serve the municipality a copy of its petition via U.S. mail.

In accordance with Indiana governor Holcomb's executive orders related to the COVID-19 pandemic, which provide for alternative procedures during this time of public health emergency, please note that the public hearing will be conducted remotely by phone and via the Internet through Webex.

If you wish to join the remote public hearing, you can participate either by phone or via the Internet through Webex. Participants can join Webex up to fifteen minutes in advance (9:45 a.m. EDT) to check for connectivity issues. The public hearing will start at 10:00 a.m. EDT and no official business shall be conducted prior to that time.
