Under
IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on April 19, 2021, at 2:00 p.m., at the Indiana
Government Center South, 402 West Washington Street, Conference Center Room 14, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Office
of the Secretary of the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration – Office of Medicaid Policy and
Planning will hold a public hearing on a proposed rule amending the following sections:
405 IAC 10-13 to
add HIP Workforce Bridge Account Participation guidelines. FSSA will host public hearings in which the public may
provide oral comments and post written comments. Due to COVID-19, a web conference will also be held, to allow the
public to provide oral comments and post written comments virtually. The virtual web conference can be accessed via
the following link: https://Indiana.AdobeConnect.com/hearing. Prior to the event, participants can go to
https://indiana.adobeconnect.com/common/help/en/support/meeting_test.htm to test their connection.
The HIP Workforce Bridge Account Participation will provide $1,000 that eligible members can use for
qualified health care expenses during the 12-month period following disenrollment from HIP. This account is available
to individuals who are no longer eligible for HIP due to an increase in income and who have completed enrollment in
commercial insurance or will need to complete enrollment in commercial insurance to have continued coverage.
Effective 30 days after filing with the Publisher.
All parties interested in the proposed rule are invited to attend the public hearing and to offer public
comments. In lieu of attendance at the public hearing, written comments may be sent to: FSSA, Attention: Madison
Hartman c/o BreAnn Teague, 402 W. Washington St., Room W451, Indianapolis, IN 46204. Correspondence should be
identified in the following manner: "COMMENT RE: LSA Document # 21-32". All written comments concerning the
rule received by the FSSA – OMPP will be available for public inspection at FSSA's Office of General Counsel,
Indiana Government Center South, 402 West Washington Street, Room W451, Indianapolis, Indiana.
