Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on August 23, 2019, at 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., at the Purdue University, Biochemistry Building, Room A-144, 175 South University Street, West Lafayette, Indiana 47907, the State Seed Commissioner will hold a public hearing on the proposed rule change to update the noxious weed seed rule 360 IAC 1-1-5 and 360 IAC 1-1-6.

The proposed rule will reduce regulations in the prohibited noxious weed seed section 360 IAC 1-1-5 by eliminating weeds no longer deemed to be a problem, and will add weedy Amaranthus species to the restricted noxious weed seed section 360 IAC 1-1-6.
