Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on July 29, 2019, at 10:30 a.m., at the Department of Insurance, 311 West Washington Street, Suite 103, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Department of Insurance will hold a public hearing on a proposed rule to amend 760 IAC 1-67 regarding annual privacy notices to customers. The amendments clarify that a licensee of the Department of Insurance that is subject to the annual notice requirement set forth in 760 IAC 1-67-4 is not required to provide annual privacy notices when the licensee has not changed its policies and practices which were disclosed in its most recent notice to consumers.

The proposed rule will impact insurance companies and insurance producers making and selling insurance in Indiana. The proposed rule does not impose costs or requirements on regulated entities.
