Notice of Public Comment Period for Children's Health Insurance
Program Compliance with the Managed Care Federal Regulations
June 12, 2019
In accordance with public notice requirements established at 42 CFR 447.205, the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration, Office of Medicaid Policy and Planning (OMPP) publishes this notice to amend the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) State Plan in accordance with the new Medicaid managed care federal regulations published at 81 FR 27497. This public notice period will run June 12, 2019, to July 12, 2019.
This CHIP State Plan Amendment (SPA) will allow the state's CHIP to comply with the new managed care regulations in accordance with guidelines established by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). There is no estimated fiscal impact.
A copy of this notice is now on file at the Indiana Government Center South, 402 West Washington Street, Room W451 and is open for public inspection. Also, a copy of this notice is now available and may be inspected by contacting the local county Division of Family Resources office, except in Marion County, where public inspection may be made at 402 West Washington Street, Room W374, Indianapolis, Indiana.
There will be no public hearing. Anyone who wishes to comment on the proposed renewal may submit through July 12, 2019, at 5:00 p.m. Written comments may be sent via email to: gabrielle.koenig@fssa.in.gov or by mail to:
